Bob Wilber joined NHRA reporter Lewis Bloom via Skype in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio delivered by Papa John’s to talk about his new book, Bats, Balls and Burnouts

Wilber, who for years was a familiar sight in the sport of NHRA Drag Racing in his role as public relations person for many different Funny Car teams, recently decided to write a book about his life in baseball, sports management, and marketing.

Although Wilber left his job in public relations to write the book after the 2015 season, he’s still a huge fan of the sport and will be coming to several races this season, beginning at Route 66 Raceway, to autograph copies of the book.
