Cruz Pedregon is a two-time NHRA Mello Yello Funny Car world champion, but the last few years have not been kind to the Cruzer.

He hasn’t won an event since Englishtown in 2014 and has only five round-wins this season, but Indy bureau chief John Kernan reports that after last week’s test at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis and some personnel changes, Pedregon may be on his way to righting the ship.
