NHRA Today: Laughlin earns Alcohol Dragster license
Alex Laughlin, who at the recent AAA Insurance NHRA Midwest Nationals became NHRA’s latest first-time winner in Pro Stock, isn’t resting on his laurels. The talented Texan recently earned his Alcohol Dragster license and plans to compete in both Pro Stock and Alcohol Dragster at this weekend’s AAA Texas NHRA Fall Nationals in Dallas.
Laughlin licensed at Lucas Oil Raceway at Indianapolis in Anthony Dicero’s A/Fuel Dragster, and recorded a speed of more than 270 mph on one of his earliest efforts. Indianapolis bureau chief John Kernan joins Lewis Bloom in the Wally Parks NHRA Studio to recap Laughlin’s outing.
