Force takes the wheel of 2017 Chevy Camaro ZL1 in Pomona
At the end of what has already been an eventful off-season for Courtney Force, the Advance Auto Parts Chevy Funny Car driver got to get behind the wheel of a brand-new 650-horsepower 2017 Chevrolet Camaro ZL1 at the Auto Club Raceway in Pomona and took NHRA's Amanda Busick along for the ride.
This 10-speed-auto equipped ponycar is Chevy’s answer to the 707-horsepower Dodge Hellcat Challenger and -- based on the eighth-mile times (7.90s at more than 100 mph – it’s right there in the hunt.
With less than 60 days until the Circle K NHRA Winternationals, Force also shared with Busick her hopes and plans for the 2017 season.
