This is the first time Sampey and Austin have faced each other in eliminations. Sampey gets the advantage off of the line and goes down the groove with a good pass to take the win. Austin gets about 400 feet out and the engine goes silent, not sure why.

This is the first time Phillips and Bold have faced each other in eliminations. Phillips gets out of the gate first and starts pulling away. Bold was on a decent pass but lost a cylinder about 1000 feet out. Phillips makes a clean, straight pass and takes the win. Payne is 1 - 0 against Blinzler in prior events. A good side-by-side, both down the groove with full passes. Blinzler gets the holeshot and starts pulling away. Payne starts making up ground after the 330 foot mark but Blinzler hangs on and takes the win. Shaunda Blinzler's incremental margins: 60ft(0.083), 330 ft(0.124), 660ft(0.089), 1,000ft(0.062). MOV: 0.0568 seconds (approximately 23 feet).

Severance is 8 - 2 against Ahten in prior events. Severance gets the advantage off of the line and goes down the groove with a full pass to take the win. Ahten had cylinders out on the left side all the way through the run. Joey Severance's incremental times: 60ft-0.906 sec., 330ft-2.363, 660ft-3.490/219.47 mph, 1,000ft-4.462. This is the first time Noonan and Wolf have faced each other in eliminations. Noonan gets out of the gate first, extends his lead through half track, then holds off Wolf and takes the stripe for the win. Bradford is 2 - 0 against Bateman in prior events. Bateman is a little too quick off of the line and goes red. he gets about 300 feet out and clicks it off. Bradford goes down the groove with the quickest pass of the round so far and takes the win. Jon Bradford's incremental times: 60ft-0.908 sec., 330ft-2.326, 660ft-3.453/219.94 mph, 1,000ft-4.416.

Cowie is 1 - 0 against Johnson in prior events. Johnson gets the holeshot but Cowie starts making up ground quickly. Cowie was out in front at the 330 foot mark, they were almost even at half track, then Johnson is able to get around him and pull away for the holeshot win.
