After two rounds of professional qualifying, championship contenders nitro points leaders Steve Torrence and Matt Hagan, Greg Anderson, and Gaige Herrera are the provisional leaders at the season-ending In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals.

DHL Express, Kalitta Air, and Kalitta Motorsports united their efforts in the “Race to End Hunger.” After successfully completing six NHRA racing events, the program not only met but exceeded its monetary goal, equivalent to providing one million meals to people facing hunger.

Spencer Hyde's first official run in Top Fuel at the In-N-Out Burger NHRA Finals didn't go according to plan as his Elite Performance entry exploded the engine at 800 feet into the run. Hyde got the car stopped safely.
