As the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series season races on, the teams of Shawn Langdon, J.R. Todd, Greg Anderson, and Gaige Herrera are the respective leaders in their classes after five events in the NHRA Crew of the Year presented by Red Line Oil competition.

The award is given to a team in each Professional category and is based on a number of statistical categories, including average qualifying position, average eliminations e.t., speed index, average points per race, and oildowns. The award is tracked over the course of the season, with the top three teams in each Professional category (Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle) showcased at the awards banquet.

In Top Fuel, Langdon's Kalitta Air team holds a five-point lead over teammate Doug Kalitta's crew with Leah Pruett's squad in third. Langdon's Funny Car teammates on Todd's DHL Toyota team holds the lead in Funny Car with Matt Hagan's crew in second and Jordan Vandergriff's crew lurking in third. KB Titan Racing holds down the first four spots in Pro Stock with the squads of Greg Anderson, Cody Coughlin, Dallas Glenn, and Matt Latino leading the way. In Pro Stock Motorcycle, Herrera's team leads ahead of Matt Smith's, with Herrera's teammate, Richard Gadson, and crew in third.
