Stringer Performance/Millican dragster will fly Summit colors at Norwalk event
Summit Racing Equipment will be featured as the primary partner on the Stringer Performance Parts Plus Top Fuel dragster driven by Clay Millican at the upcoming Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park in Norwalk, Ohio.
This primary paint scheme is the highlight of an already successful full-season sponsorship program with the world championship drag racer.
“Being able to work with our key partners like Summit to create this awesome paint scheme is just one of the exciting opportunities of this program, and having Clay race it at their annual Summit Racing NHRA Nationals makes it super special,” said team owner Doug Stringer.
Millican will pilot the Summit Racing Equipment “white lightning” Norwalk primary paint scheme that takes a twist on his current 2022 Parts Plus paint scheme but with a black base that makes the lightning come to life at more than 330 mph.
“I love the look of my blue lightning race car and was so excited when Summit came to us to enhance that theme with a black and white version,” said Millican.
Summit Racing Equipment will have a meet and greet with their Team Summit Racing drivers on Wednesday, June 22, between 4-8 p.m. at the Summit Racing Retail Super Store in Tallmadge, Ohio. Millican will bring his Top Fuel dragster.
“Everyone at Summit Racing is very excited to showcase our partnership with Clay as the primary sponsor during our race at Summit Motorsports Park,” said Summit’s Jim Greenleaf. “This race is in our backyard and will give our employees the opportunity to come out and cheer for Clay and the team. We look forward to kicking off the race weekend with the NHRA driver meet and greet at our Tallmadge, Ohio, Retail Super Store. It will be our first opportunity to see the dragster in person.”
