The new issue of NHRA National Dragster magazine, spotlighting coverage from the NHRA New England Nationals and NHRA Thunder Valley Nationals and packed with other features on NHRA Sportsman racers, is available online and in the mail to NHRA Members around the world.
In addition to the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series action from Epping and Bristol, we’ve also got a full slate of Sportsman coverage from both national events as well as NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series action from Divisions 1, 3, 4, and 5, as well as National Open racing in Divisions 1 and 7.
Comp superstar Greg Kamplain’s rise through the class is well documented in an extensive feature as is the progress of the racing Isenhower brothers – Devin and Nick – as they wreak havoc in the Super classes. We’ve also got an exclusive interview with Pro Stock ace Greg Anderson about his frustration of being stuck on 99 wins, with No. 100 just teasingly still out of grasp.
World champ Luke Bogacki breaks down the element of Racer IQ (aka “race smarts”) and how to break down, identify, and improve all of its elements for greater success.
National Dragster eulogizes the loss of track operators Bruton Smith and Bill Bader Sr., and it also pays tribute to the long career of Tom McKernan, whose time with the Auto Club and the NHRA Motorsports Museum has yielded so many great projects and sponsorships throughout the years, but will move on to other projects going forward.
On the tech side, Total Seal’s Matt Hartford and Lake Speed talk about the benefits of friction reduction in your engine (and in your business), while regular contributor Evan Smith lays out the ultimate collection of tools you need at the track and in your shop.
