The new issue of NHRA National Dragster has landed, with complete coverage from the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series, NHRA Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series, and NHRA Hot Rod Heritage Racing Series and packed with features about the racers you need to meet.

This action-packed issue spotlights three wild (and hot!) races from the Camping World Drag Racing Series – the Denso NHRA Sonoma Nationals in Seattle; the Flav-R-Pac NHRA Northwest Nationals in Seattle; and the Menards NHRA Nationals presented by PetArmor in Topeka – with complete coverage from Top Fuel through Top Sportsman and packed with photos of the diverse Sportsman entries.

The issue also is crammed with interesting Sportsman-themed feature stories, with deep dives into the decorated career of John Labbous Jr. and a look at the fast-rising sister-brother act of Madison and Toby Payne. We got behind the scenes with Tyler Cassil as he explains what led to his amazing Super Stock/Stock in Topeka and check in with three-time Comp world champ Frank Aragona, who tells the story of his recovery from cancer.

We’ve also got coverage from the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series and NHRA National Open trails, plus coverage of the Nightfire Nationals Heritage Series event.

Multitime world champ Luke Bogacki’s Science of Winning column offers tips for how to overcome the tough loss, while announcer Alan Reinhart talks about the successful return to Route 66 Raceway. We also check in with Tony Schumacher for an interview about his team’s new ownership and his breakthrough win in Seattle.

There are also previews for the Pep Boys NHRA All-Star Callout and JEGS Allstars events that will take place at the Dodge Power Brokers NHRA U.S. Nationals, a look at the new NHRA: Speed For All video game, and take an in-depth look at the science of connecting rods.
