The official start of the Texas NHRA FallNationals at the historic Texas Motorplex will rev up with an epic lineup of NHRA drivers and riders for the Pre-Stage Fan Fest in downtown Waxahachie, Texas, including world champions in all four NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series as well as 15 Texas FallNationals Professional winners on Oct. 13. More than 50 NHRA Camping World Series drivers and riders, including fan-favorites John Force, Antron Brown, Texans Steve Torrence and Erica Enders, and Matt and Angie Smith are scheduled to sign autographs at this free event held for the second consecutive year at Railyard Park just south of the historic Waxahachie town square.

“Last year, we had a tremendous group of drivers and riders, and we have exceeded that number this year,” said Christie Meyer Johnson, co-owner of Texas Motorplex. “The support we get from the drivers and riders is amazing, and this free event is one of the highlights of the Stampede of Speed. Fans can get autographs at the races, but the Pre-Stage Fan Fest is the best opportunity to meet all the stars for free, in a relaxed, fun environment.”

Reigning 2021 FallNationals champions Justin Ashley, Greg Anderson, and Matt Smith will be in attendance as well as local driver Buddy Hull and Austin, Texas, residents Alexis DeJoria and eight-time world champion Tony Schumacher. Drivers racing in Pro Mod will also join the group that includes some of the biggest names in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle. 2022 NHRA championship contenders Robert Hight, Matt Hagan, Cruz Pedregon, J.R. Todd, Shawn Langdon, and Leah Pruett will be on-site from 7 p.m. until 8:30 p.m, signing at this free event which begins with food trucks, live music, and activities for the whole family from 6 p.m. until 9 p.m.
