Vintage Pro Stock machines will be out in force at the Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals at Summit Motorsports Park as members of the Southeast and Midwest Pro Stock Associations combine for exhibition runs and a pit-area display featuring many of the sport’s best-known and most-beloved factory hot rods.

The Midwest Nostalgia Pro Stock Association will be highlighted by members Mark Pappas in the Reher-Morrison Camaro,  Mike Ruth in Bob Glidden’s potent Ford Fairmont, Ted Peters’ Patriot Missile, Bill White in Joe Satmary’s Camaro, Rick Katron in the Rod Shop Firebird, and John Denbrock in Bill Jenkins’ fabled Grumpy’s Toy Chevy Vega.

The Southeast Nostalgia Pro Stock Association, which was recently featured in exhibition events in Gainesville, Atlanta, and Charlotte, will counter with Jeff Rudisill's Orndorff and Eckman '86 Camaro, Keith Bronson Jr. in a Bob Glidden '87 Motorcraft Ford Thunderbird tribute, Keith Bronson Sr. in the original Robert Patrick Ford Probe, and Ed Eichelberger's in the Grumpy's Toy Camaro.

All 10 cars are expected to make one exhibition pass on Friday and one on Saturday as NHRA continues to celebrate its rich history during its 70th anniversary. In addition to the on-track action, there will also be a display in the pit area that will allow fans to get an up-close look at many of the cars that have provided history-making moments throughout Pro Stock’s 50-plus year history.
