Auto Club NHRA Finals

NHRA fans and others planning to attend the 2021 season-ending Auto Club NHRA Finals, Nov. 11-14, to witness the dramatic crowning of the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series world champions in Pomona will NOT be subject to vaccine verification or proof of negative COVID test in order to attend the dramatic season finale at Auto Club Raceway at Pomona.

Due to voluntary capacity limitations imposed by the NHRA, this open-air outdoor event does not require these measures, according to the Los Angeles County Department of Public Health. It is recommended that fans follow the traditional safety practices, including social distancing, hand washing and sanitizing, and face masks in high-traffic areas, but it is not mandated to show proof of vaccination or negative test.

All four NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series world championships are expected to be decided at the event, which should welcome fans with the traditional cooler fall weather, a dramatic departure from the heat and humidity of the Winternationals held at the track in July.

The championship drama will be fueled by the traditional points-and-a-half bonus scoring system in play for the event, almost ensuring a dramatic late-Sunday finish to crown the 2021 NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series champions.

Racing kicks off Friday with the first of three qualifying sessions for drivers in the Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle classes, followed by two more sessions Saturday and final eliminations on Sunday.

Tickets can be purchased here or by calling 800-884-NHRA (6472).
