Throwback Thursday: Check out the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series action from Dallas in 2019
NHRA returns to racing with the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Central Region event contested on May 22-23, with qualifying on Friday beginning at 5 p.m.
On Saturday competitors in Top Alcohol Funny Car and Top Alcohol Dragster will battle it out for a winner’s purse of $3,500 in prize money. Not only will the NHRA Lucas Oil Top Alcohol Dragster and Funny Cars be running full five-second, 280-mph quarter-mile runs at this event, but the Summit Racing Equipment Mid West Pro Mod Association will also be there with their exciting 200- eighth-mile Pro Mods, plus Top Sportsman, Top Dragster, and Jr. Dragster in MWPM points competition.
