Show Us Your Shop! Take a tour through the Harris Race Cars shop in Nebraska
Take a tour through the Harris Race Cars shop of NHRA Division 5 Comp eliminator team of the Harris family. The shop is located in Nebraska City, Neb.
The team was founded by patriarch Bill in the mid-80s with his brother to field a Super Street entry. Harris switched to Comp in the mid-1990s and racing until the 2007 season when his son, Matt, took over the controls of their E/A 2010 Chevy Cobalt.
Harris’ daughter, Christine, began bracket racing in 2014 and joined her brother in Comp in 2017 driving an H/Altered ’05Pontiac Grand Am. All three members of the family has won Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series events and Matt is the reigning Division 5 Comp champion.
