Even though the track is not officially open yet for racing, NHRA Division 5 Member Track Rock Falls Raceway in Eau Claire, Wis., had cars on the track May 8 as part a Drive-Thru Tour program to highlight improvements at the track.

More than 200 cars took the tour, allowing people to see the new concrete burnout box wall, take a 25-mph drive down the entire racetrack, and then check out the new return road, the pits, the new tower, restrooms, showers, concession stand, storage building and new staging lane area.

As a precaution, visitors were asked to remain in their vehicles but still got a great look at the improvements at the track. The proceeds from a $1 donation for the tour went to Rock Falls Raceway staff who have been impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic.
