If all he ever did was become the first NHRA driver to exceed 300 mph in NHRA competition, Kenny Bernstein's name would forever be etched in the record books, but the Texas native accomplished so much more than that, winning six championships -- four in Funny Car and two in Top Fuel, one of the few to have won titles in both -- and scored 69 NHRA national events wins, In 2000, he was voted No. 6 on the list of Top 50 Racers in NHRA's first 50 years, but his career was far from finished.
