Northern California-based Lescure to sponsor Jim Dunn Racing in Sonoma
Keeping a relationship of team involvement alive and well for more than a decade, the Lescure Company of Concord, Calif., will sponsor Jim Dunn Racing at the NHRA Sonoma Nationals.
Coming off of a busy weekend in the first segment of NHRA’s Western Swing at Denver where it hosted Cattleman’s Cut Beef Jerky spokesperson Carmen Electra, the team is happy to get back to their home state and settle into near sea level racing conditions.
The team will sport three different designs on its car during this year’s Western Swing, with Cattleman’s Cut in Denver, Lescure Company in Sonoma, and then a design to represent a new Oberto logo which will be similar to the hydroplane boat when the team races in Seattle. Each new design comes with much more than just a new body wrap.
“We are a single-car, family- run team that helps design the graphics wrap on each Funny Car, generate new hero cards, along with new crew uniforms, and provide marketing activation at each race,” said Team Manager Jon Dunn. “It’s a lot of fun for ‘Big Jim’ Dunn and the team, but it’s also a lot of work.
“The Western Swing this year has brought additional work to our team because of three consecutive special promotions with Carmen Electra on-site in Denver to promote Cattleman’s Cut,, Lescure Company and bay area sponsor Alo Drink at Sonoma, followed by a visit to our season long primary sponsor, Oberto’s home track in Seattle
In Sonoma, the Lescure Company, which designs and build high-quality mechanical systems for all types of projects, helps the Dunns feel right at home thanks to their support in the pit area and on the track.
