Complete 2020 NHRA national event category schedule announced

NHRA has released the event-by-event class schedule, a matrix that displays which special features and classes from all of its series will compete at which NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series national events in 2020.

NHRA has released the event-by-event class schedule, a matrix that displays which classes and special features will compete at which NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series national events in 2020.

The schedule covers all Pro and Sportsman classes as well as the E3 Spark Plugs NHRA Pro Mod, Mickey Thompson Tires Top Fuel Harley, and SAMTech NHRA Factory Stock Showdown series.

For the first time, Top Alcohol Dragster and Top Alcohol Funny Car will be contested four-wide at both the DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals and NGK Spark Plugs Four-Wide Nationals.

Also for the first time Super Street will be contested at the 60th Annual Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals. In addition, Super Stock and Stock class racing for Amalie Motor Oil NHRA Gatornationals, DENSO Spark Plugs NHRA Four-Wide Nationals, Mopar Express Lane NHRA SpringNationals and AAA Texas NHRA FallNationals will be contested at Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Regional/Divisional events to provide more racers the opportunity to compete for a class Wally.
