Carmen Electra, Jim Dunn Funny Car to be featured in Cattleman’s Cut videos
Former Baywatch star Carmen Electra and the Cattleman’s Cut Funny Car of Jim Dunn Racing will be featured in a series of videos for Cattleman’s Cut, Oberto’s fast-growing jerky brand.
The videos will be shot after the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, where Dunn’s Cattleman’s Cut Funny Car will make its debut. Electra’s image is also emblazoned on the back door of the team’s transporter and on the Funny Car.
Cattleman’s Cut is creating a wealth of content that pairs Electra, dressed as The Cattlewoman, with the Cattleman’s Cut Funny Car and the already established Cattleman character (played by Oberto CEO Tom Hernquist) and a group of beleaguered young men who are guilty of a series of man-fractions that range from getting a personalized license plate to using their cell phone instead of a tire iron to fix a flat. In addition to dozens of videos that will run digitally and on Oberto’s social media channels, Electra, as The Cattlewoman, will be featured in point-of-sale materials.
“We couldn’t think of a better person to play our Cattlewoman than Carmen Electra,” said Oberto marketing director Stephen O’Hare. “And the fact that we get to pair her with 10,000 horsepower of the Cattleman’s Cut Funny Car should make our message even more potent.”
The car is owned and tuned by Hall of Fame crew chief and former driver Jim Dunn.
