Hruska will drive PTE Camaro in 2017 Pro Mod competition
Precision Turbo and Engine founder Harry Hruska will take the wheel of his own Pro Mod Camaro for the 2017 NHRA J&A Service Pro Mod Drag Racing Series.
Hruska recently completed the requirements for his NHRA Pro Mod license.
"After over 20 years of putting my racing career on hold, I am excited to take on the pro mod challenges," said Hruska. "I have great respect for those in this sport and after having worked with multiple professional drivers, I am humbled by the opportunity ahead.
"My deepest gratitude goes to my mentor Frank Hawley for his unconditional support and guidance, and for getting me up to speed. His contribution to our sport is unparalleled.
"In 1987 I started Precision in order to support my passion for racing, and in 1993 the business evolved into my family’s primary income," he continued. "My last race in a late-model circle-track car was in 1996, so I am very eager to be back in a seat, and especially thrilled to be behind the wheel of my own Pro Mod Camaro."
Former Pro Mod driver and close friend Don Walsh Jr. commented, "I am excited to hear that Harry has decided to drive his Pro Mod this year. Harry is a very determined individual, and will without a doubt work very hard at becoming a successful driver, as well as team owner/tuner. I wish him all the success that he deserves, as well as a safe season."
