After a trying start to his 2016 season in which he reached the semifinals just twice in the first 13 events, Vincent Nobile and the Mountain View Tire team came alive during the Western Swing.

Nobile was runner-up at the Mopar Mile-High NHRA Nationals in Denver and, after a second-round finish at the Toyota NHRA Sonoma Nationals, he reached the final round again at the Protect the Harvest NHRA Northwest Nationals presented by Lucas Oil in Seattle, a final round unfortunately delayed by rain that will be completed at the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals.

Nobile checked in with NHRA’s Amanda Busick at the Wally Parks NHRA Studio to talk about his team’s resurgence, the decision to stage the delayed final round in Indy, and more.
