With the Western Swing in the rearview mirrors, NHRA’s Mello Yello teams are returning to their home bases to prepare for the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals and, beyond that, the Chevrolet Performance U.S. Nationals.

From the Wally Parks Route 66 Broadcast Center, NHRA's Amanda Busick chats with NHRA FOX Indy bureau chief John Kernan, who spoke to Steve Torrence’s Top Fuel team upon its arrival and discusses their plans for the next two events in this edition of NHRA Now.

Torrence's team has been one of the hottest in the class this summer, including a final-round appearance at the rain-postponed Protect the Harvest NHRA Northwest Nationals presented by Lucas Oil in Seattle. That final round against Antron Brown will take place in Brainerd, and, according to Kernan, both teams will have made significant changes to their chassis.
