The NHRA has a job opportunity for Director of Accounting.

The Director of Accounting, under the direction of the Controller, is responsible for the supervision and control of the general accounting functions and for financial statement and report preparation. This includes the general ledger, payables, receivables, property, financial reporting, and analysis. This individual is responsible for financial statement and report preparation on a regular and special-request basis, assisting departments with annual budget preparation, reviewing entries to general ledger and subsidiary ledgers to assure accuracy.

The ideal candidate will be a self-starting, hands-on professional. The candidate should have proven experience working in a complex environment. The lean nature of our organization requires that this position take direct hands-on responsibility for delivering work product in a timely and correct manner and in identifying areas on which to focus time and energy for maximum impact, with limited day-to-day direction.
