K&N named Official Filter and Air Intake of NHRA
K&N Engineering, a worldwide leader in the manufacture of washable filters and air intake systems, has signed an agreement with NHRA to become the Official Filter and Air Intake of NHRA.
“K&N has been a terrific partner of NHRA Drag Racing for many decades, and we are proud to name K&N the Official Filter and Air Intake of the NHRA,” said Brad Gerber, NHRA vice president and chief development officer. “Through announcements like these, K&N continues to reinforce its elite level of commitment and dedication to the greater NHRA racing community.”
The NHRA official sponsorship increases K&N’s commitment to NHRA Drag Racing. The company was recently announced as the title sponsor for this weekend’s K&N Filters Route 66 NHRA Nationals at Route 66 Raceway near Chicago and is the longtime sponsor of the popular K&N Horsepower Challenge, a lucrative bonus event for NHRA Pro Stock teams held each April during the national event in Las Vegas. The company also provides primary and associate sponsorships for several NHRA Pro and Sportsman race teams.
“We’re thrilled to become the Official Filter and Air Intake of NHRA,” said Tony Yorkman, sports marketing manager, K&N Engineering. “We’ve had great success in marketing our products through partnerships with the NHRA in the past. The fan base of NHRA Drag Racing represents a great match with our targeted customers. With greater visibility in the NHRA Mello Yello Drag Racing Series through this official sponsorship, we look forward to generating even more awareness and recognition for the K&N brand.”
