Brad Gerber, a skilled sales executive with vast experience in the world of automotive publishing and digital media, has been named NHRA vice president of sales and chief development officer.

Gerber will lead NHRA’s sales and business development team and oversee all media sales, corporate sponsorships, and revenue development initiatives. He will report to NHRA President Peter Clifford and be a part of NHRA’s leadership team.

“Brad has a solid reputation as a talented and creative person who is solutions-oriented,” Clifford said. “Brad is excited about the future of NHRA racing, and we’re thrilled to have him join our team. We’re confident that our existing sponsors will enjoy working with Brad and that he will find creative solutions for new sponsors that will enhance their businesses while supporting the sport. NHRA continues to offer an incredible value proposition. Brad and his team will offer tailored solutions to expand the league’s marketing partnerships.”

Gerber was an executive at Source Interlink Media and its predecessor companies Primedia and Petersen Publishing. He worked internationally for Skin Diver magazine, served as publisher for Hot Rod and Automobile magazines, and eventually rose to the rank of executive vice president, chief revenue and marketing officer for the entire company.

Most recently, Gerber held the position of global development executive at HYFN, an award-winning digital development, advertising, and technology agency that services high-profile clients, including GoDaddy, Google, HP, Taco Bell, and AMEX.

“I am so happy to have the opportunity to work in this sport and with the entire NHRA community, including its many marketing partners,” Gerber said. “NHRA has amazing growth potential, and I look forward to the challenge of developing sponsorship opportunities and creating long-lasting business partnerships with new and existing clients. This is an exciting time for the entire NHRA community, and I am anxious to get started.”
