Buckle up. This is where the ride gets a bit bumpy. The Countdown to the Championship playoffs for the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series is about to hit the halfway point with this week’s NHRA Midwest Nationals at World Wide Technology Raceway. Right now, all four Professional championships are very much up for grabs, but that might not be the case on Monday morning.

With the FuelTech NHRA Pro Mod Drag Racing Series presented by D-Wagon headed to its final two races of the 2022 season, the points battle is heating up in the category, with an epic championship duel set to go down over the next two events.

With the forecast of Hurricane Ian’s arrival over the weekend and no available dates at the facility, NHRA has made the difficult decision to cancel the Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series Regional event scheduled for this weekend at Virginia Motorsports Park. The event will not be rescheduled.
