2024 SEMA Show NHRA Breakfast: Standing on the Shoulders of Giants
The NHRA Breakfast, a staple of the SEMA Show for more than two decades, takes place Nov. 6: This year's topic is “Standing on the Shoulders of Giants.” NHRA stars Ron Capps, Tony Schumacher, Austin Prock, and crew chief Jim Oberhofer will appear – as well as a celebrated surprise guest – to discuss the “giant” that helped start their drag racing career.

The Winefsky family will make its long-anticipated nitro Funny Car debut at the upcoming Ford Performance NHRA Nationals in Las Vegas, with veteran flopper driver John Hale at the controls. Dylan Winefsky will make licensing runs after the event in anticipation of a 2025 debut.

Justin Ashley moved into the Top Fuel points lead with his win at the Texas NHRA FallNationals. Matt Hagan (Funny Car), Jeg Coughlin Jr. (Pro Stock) and Gaige Herrera (Pro Stock Motorcycle) also won at the fourth of six races in the Countdown to the Championship playoffs.
