World championship odds updated for NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series
At the halfway point of the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series, Shawn Langdon, Ron Capps, Dallas Glenn, and Richard Gadson are favored to win their respective Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle categories.
NHRA fans participating in gaming as part of the PlayNHRA initiative continue to have the opportunity to place wagers on the 2026 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series champions in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle as the series celebrates its 75th anniversary.
The first 10 events of the season have brought a lot of drama and intrigue, as well as a few surprises, and while every category remains up for grabs, a few clear favorites have emerged. After last weekend’s Summit Racing Equipment NHRA Nationals in Norwalk, the experts at Alt Sports Data have provided updated odds for each of the four Professional classes.
TOP FUEL

In Top Fuel, 13 drivers are listed as potential title contenders, with current leader Shawn Langdon listed as the favorite at +250, just ahead of Kalitta Motorsports teammate Doug Kalitta, who is at +400.
Other prime title contenders include Leah Pruett, who has been successful in her return after a two-year layoff, and Antron Brown, who has reached the final at the last two events. Both are priced at +700.
Norwalk winner Maddi Gordon, Tony Stewart, and Josh Hart are solid mid-pack contenders priced between +800 and +900.
When it comes to long shots, Justin Ashley, Billy Torrence, Clay Millican, Shawn Reed, Will Smith, and eight-time world champ Tony Schumacher fit the bill. Ashley, after a slow start to the season, is offered at +1400, while Smith and Schumacher top out at a lofty +6000, which means a modest $10 wager would return $610.00.
| DRIVER | ODDS | PROFIT ON $10 WAGER | TOTAL PAYOUT |
Shawn Langdon | +250 | $25.00 | $35.00 |
Doug Kalitta | +400 | $40.00 | $50.00 |
Leah Pruett | +700 | $70.00 | $80.00 |
Antron Brown | +700 | $70.00 | $80.00 |
Maddi Gordon | +800 | $80.00 | $90.00 |
Tony Stewart | +900 | $90.00 | $100.00 |

Shawn Reed | +3500 | $350.00 | $360.00 |
Will Smith | +6000 | $600.00 | $610.00 |
Tony Schumacher | +6000 | $600.00 | $610.00 |
FUNNY CAR

There is a fair amount of parity in Funny Car, which helps explain why Ron Capps, Matt Hagan, J.R. Todd, Chad Green, and Jordan Vandergriff can all be classified as favorites with prices ranging from +350 to +650.
Perhaps the most interesting pick in any category is Austin Prock, the two-time and reigning Funny Car champ. Prock got off to a slow start in his first season with Tasca Racing but recently showed drastic improvement with a win in Maryland to go along with semifinals in Chicago, Bristol, and Norwalk. If Prock can complete the comeback and win a third straight championship, bettors who took him at the current price of +800 will be glad they did.
The rest of the field stacks up with Jack Beckman, Alexis DeJoria, and Spencer Hyde at +900, +1200, and +1500, respectively, while the long shots include Daniel Wilkerson (+2000), Cruz Pedregon (+3000), and Dave Richards (+6000).
| DRIVER | ODDS | PROFIT ON $10 WAGER | TOTAL PAYOUT |
Ron Capps | +350 | $35.00 | $45.00 |

Jack Beckman | +900 | $90.00 | $100.00 |
Alexis DeJoria | +1200 | $120.00 | $130.00 |
Spencer Hyde | +1500 | $150.00 | $160.00 |
Daniel Wilkerson | +2000 | $200.00 | $210.00 |
Cruz Pedregon | +3000 | $300.00 | $310.00 |
Dave Richards | +6000 | $600.00 | $610.00 |
PRO STOCK

KB Titan teammates Dallas Glenn and Greg Anderson remain the leaders in Pro Stock, and that is reflected in their championship odds. Glenn, the current points leader, is at +175, while Anderson is just a fraction behind at +200. That represents a big advantage over Matt Hartford, who has won three of the first 10 races and has opening odds of +700.
Matt Latino has yet to win a race, but he has shown a lot of promise, so the oddsmakers have him listed at +900, while Aaron Stanfield and his father, Greg, come in at +1200 and +1400, respectively.
Long shots include Erica Enders at +1800, Troy Coughlin Jr. at +2200, and Eric Latino and Deric Kramer each at +4000.

PRO STOCK MOTORCYCLE

Reigning NHRA Mission Foods Pro Stock Motorcycle champion Richard Gadson leads the list of favorites among NHRA’s two-wheel crowd with odds of -150, making him a big favorite. In this instance, a bettor would have to wager $15.00 in order to return $25.00 for a $10.00 profit. Gadson’s teammate, Gaige Herrera, also has short odds of +125.
Maryland winner Angie Smith represents solid mid-pack value at +750, while, technically, everyone else in the Pro Stock Motorcycle field is a long shot, including Chase Van Sant at +3500, John Hall at +4000, Ryan Oehler and Jianna Evaristo at +5000, with Geno Scali (+6000), Steve Johnson (+6500), and Marc Ingwersen (+7500) rounding out the contenders.
