The 2025 NHRA Mission Foods Drag Racing Series will head to Las Vegas this weekend for the Dodge NHRA Nevada Nationals powered by Direct Connection. As the penultimate round in the 20-race series, there is a chance that the championships will be crowned this weekend.

Doug Kalitta, Austin Prock, Dallas Glenn, and Richard Gadson come into the event as the championship leaders in Top Fuel, Funny Car, Pro Stock, and Pro Stock Motorcycle, respectively. Not surprisingly, Kalitta and Prock are big favorites, while title contenders Greg Anderson and Gaige Herrera are favored in Pro Stock and Pro Stock Motorcycle, respectively.

As part of Play NHRA, drag racing fans have the opportunity to engage in fantasy games, gaming, and betting for this event. Betting markets feature Professional classes, where fans can wager on event winners, low elapsed time of the event, head-to-head matchups, and season champions.

Below are the opening odds as provided by Alt Sports Data.

(Note: In American sports betting, odds are typically expressed with a plus (+) or minus (–) symbol followed by a number. For example, +200 signifies the amount a bettor could win if wagering $100. If the bet works out, the player will receive a total payout of $300; $200 profit + $100 initial stake.)

TOP FUEL

Doug Kalitta is chasing his second Top Fuel title in three years, and with a 141-point lead over Justin Ashley, he’s in a prime position to win it. Kalitta has opened as the favorite in Top Fuel at +400, meaning a $10 wager would return a total of $50. Kalitta came into the playoffs as the No. 4 seed in the class and has steadily improved his points total.

Ashley is second to Kalitta at +550, while Shawn Langdon and Brittany Force opened at +600, while Antron Brown is +700 and Tony Stewart, Shawn Reed, and Clay Millican are +800.

When it comes to long shots, eight-time world champion Tony Schumacher stands out at +1200, while Josh Hart is +1500 and Canadian Dan Mercier is +2000.

PRO STOCK

The battle for the Pro Stock title rages on with KB Titan Racing teammates Dallas Glenn and Greg Anderson separated by just 60 points in the standings. Anderson is the favorite at +250, most likely due to his past success in Las Vegas, while Glenn is +650, a price he shares with Erica Enders, who has also enjoyed great success in Las Vegas.

Matt Hartford is third in the points battle, albeit 225 points out of the lead, and his odds are +900, while fourth-ranked Aaron Stanfield is also at +900.

Jeg Coughlin Jr. (+1000), Greg Stanfield (+1300), Cory Reed (+1300), Troy Coughlin Jr. (+1500), and Eric Latino (+1500) represent value picks.

One intriguing entry is Dave Connolly, a 26-time national event winner who will fill the seat at KB Titan Racing vacated by Cody Coughlin. Connolly, who is normally a crew chief, has opening odds of +5500, meaning a $10 wager would return a huge $560 payout.

PRO STOCK MOTORCYCLE

While Richard Gadson is the incoming points leader in Pro Stock Motorcycle, it’s his teammate, Gaige Herrera, who is a big favorite at -125, which means a $10 wager would return just $18. Gadson is not far behind at +300, while six-time champion Matt Smith is also among the favorites at +400.

NHRA Rookie of the Year contender Brayden Davis comes in at +1000, while two-time event winner John Hall is +1200, and Marc Ingwersen leads the list of long shots at +2000.
