Fineline Graphics named Preferred Signage and Graphics Company of NHRA
Fineline Graphics, a Denver-based premier print and design company, has been named the preferred signage and graphics company of NHRA as part of a new multiyear partnership.
As part of the new sponsorship, Fineline Graphics, which is owned by former Pro Stock standout V Gaines, will provide the graphics and signage for all 21 national event races on the NHRA Camping World Drag Racing Series tour. Fineline and NHRA will work closely on all national event graphic packages, with Fineline offering unique expertise thanks in part to its longtime involvement in drag racing.
“All of us here at Fineline Graphics are really excited to work with NHRA on this level,” Fineline Graphics Vice President/General Manager Steve Johnson said. “I’ve worked for V Gaines for 30 years, and we’ve all been involved in drag racing for a long time, but taking our involvement with NHRA to this next level is fantastic. Drag racing is such a big passion of ours, and this is very exciting. We’ve got a strong understanding of how a race weekend goes and how important that visual impact of the signage and graphics need to be, and I’m looking forward to this partnership.”
For more than 30 years, Fineline Graphics has been involved with a multitude of high-level projects, offering everything from custom signage to advertising boards to winner’s checks to banners, graphics, and more. They work with the likes of the Denver Broncos and Bandimere Speedway and were also the first digital printing company in the Denver area.
The company is also heavily involved in drag racing, with several employees actively racing on the divisional level. That includes Johnson and his family, with his children both racing in Super Comp. His wife has won a divisional championship in Top Dragster, while Johnson, who also currently races Top Dragster in Division 5, has enjoyed plenty of success in the Super Gas and Super Comp ranks.
“It’s exciting to be working with Fineline Graphics in this capacity because they have such a vast knowledge of the sport. They know exactly the signage and graphic needs at a NHRA national event and what is necessary for a memorable look and feel at our races,” NHRA Director of Advertising/Sponsorship Sales Jeff Morton said. “It’s a company of racers, and they are extremely talented in what they do, and we’re thrilled to put together this new partnership.”
