NHRA partners with Lightmaker for total revamp of NHRA.com
NHRA is partnering with Lightmaker, an international digital agency with more than 20 years of experience in developing digital destinations, for a complete redesign of NHRA.com.
Other major sports websites designed by Lightmaker include the Association of Tennis Professionals (ATP) World Tour, KPMG Women's PGA Championships, Haas F1 Team, Ladies Professional Golf Assn (LPGA), ArnoldPalmer.com, IndyCar, and the Professional Bull Riders.
“Developing a state-of-the art digital content production and distribution platform is a major strategic initiative of NHRA,” said Tyler Schulze, NHRA vice president and chief financial officer. “We are excited to kick off this mobile-optimized website redesign and development project with plans to launch for the 2017 season. Lightmaker has proven competency in building innovative digital properties at scale for major sports organizations, and we are confident they will be a strong partner and guide throughout this process.”
Lightmaker will help NHRA accomplish its goals of making NHRA.com more mobile-friendly and fan-friendly, along with adding new and improved features about its teams and drivers.
“Today's fans are more connected digitally than ever before,” said Patrick McKerney, executive vice president of Lightmaker. “Gone are the days of simply building a website. The fan experience must equally be powered by an unparalleled digital platform experience, coupled with a solid understanding of the business and partner needs. Understanding NHRA's business objectives, fan touch points and brand integrations, allows us to partner with NHRA to develop their next general digital business platform that will elevate the fan experience to new levels.”
