After the first qualifying session, the top three riders in Pro Stock Motorcycle are Matt Smith, Eddie Krawiec, and Hector Arana Sr., and they are separated by just seven thousandths of a second. Reigning word champ Smith rode his Denso EBR to a 6.842 to lead the field while Krawiec is just three-thousandths behind with a 6.845 on his Screamin’ Eagle Harley-Davidson while Arana Sr. earned a qualifying bonus point after a 6.849 on his Lucas Oil EBR. Further down the ladder, rookie Jianna Salinas continued to make steady progress with a 6.989, her first six-second run, on the Stoffer/Underdahl Suzuki.
