The world lost one of the best today. Ironic that Terry passed on July 4th. She has done so much for our military veterans and their families. She has touched many and positively affected hundreds just in her drag racing circles. We shall go on but it's not going to be the same without our saint. I love you Terry and I thank you for doing so much.

The racing community has lost an amazing woman! I was fortunate enough to have some great memories with Terry. She was an amazing woman who loved everybody. Had a big smile but even a bigger heart. I'll miss the conversations, laughs and the wink with a thumbs up everytime I sat in the water box getting ready to fire up the car. You will truly be missed Terry!

There is NO WAY to sum this up but to say our 💔are broken!! Terry Chandler was such an AMAZING lady who loved racing and life more than anyone I know.. Always had a smile and just so much positive energy.. we will miss you Terry..

We lost a very special woman yesterday. Terry Chandler was our friend and a strong presence in @nhra. Terry I will miss seeing you first thing in the morning on race weekends. Sitting on your golf cart between our tour busses in your robe smokin a cigarette, drinking coffee, carrying on about something with the dogs or race cars. Your smile beaming so bright. You never liked having one of your cars beat me on Raceday (and they did many times...lol) but you always would walk up under the car and give me a thumbs up. We never knew how much pain you were in. Your a strong woman with a heart of gold. You will be greatly missed. Rest in paradise darlin!! 💫

I was going to start this off with "The world of drag racing" but is better off said, "The world", lost an amazing person today. She had the biggest heart and not only supported the NHRA indefinitely, but supported some of the largest charities and their awareness for years on end. She became a supportive friend of mine over the last couple years and was a true hero. It won't be the same without her. Terry, may one of your funny cars win this weekend in Chicago in YOUR name. God bless you sweet lady. You, your kind heart, and sarcastic personality will be greatly missed. Thank you for being you. @fastjackbeckman_fc @tommyjohnson_jr make it happen guys, you two in the final this weekend.
