Prock goes to No. 1; Mission Challenge wins go to Langdon, Beckman, Hartford
Reigning Funny Car world champion Austin Prock powered to the top spot on Saturday at the 65th annual Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals. Brittany Force (Top Fuel) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock) also qualified No. 1 while Shawn Langdon, Jack Beckman, and Matt Hartford won the Mission Challenge titles.

In celebration of NHRA’s upcoming 75th anniversary in 2026, officials at In-N-Out Burger and NHRA announced the scheduling of a special Division 7 Lucas Oil Drag Racing Series event on March 12-15, 2026, at historic In-N-Out Burger Pomona Dragstrip.

When you drive Funny Cars for a living, as Ron Capps has for nearly 30 years, the bumps and bruises and fire and blower explosions come with the territory, but because all he's ever wanted to be is a Funny Car driver, he readily accepts it.
Kalitta wins Top Fuel Callout race; Force, Capps, Anderson grab Friday poles
Doug Kalitta claimed the victory in Friday’s Right Trailers Top Fuel All-Star Callout, beating Brittany Force in the final, though Force ended up as the No. 1 qualifier in Top Fuel at the Lucas Oil NHRA Winternationals, and was joined atop the Pomona pack by Ron Capps (Funny Car) and Greg Anderson (Pro Stock).
