This was Clontz' first attempt to qualify for an NHRA national event. She is riding a motorcycle she purchased from Karen Stoffer. Her motorcycle started to trail some smoke as it crossed the finish line.

Hines' motorcycle is a new chassis for this event and has styling based on Harley-Davidson's new Street Rod model. Savoie looked to have a good ride going but he gave up on the ride halfway through. Hines' ride looked good and put him into the number five spot for now.
